🎯 Candidate Interview Preparation Guide 2026 Competency Standards

Key Competencies & Interview Evaluation for Iris

Primary Role Evaluation Focus:

Evaluating raw intellectual horsepower combined with hyper-rigorous product execution and a deep obsession with user simplification.

📋 Key Preparation Priorities (What to highlight):
  • 1. Using overly corporate or bureaucratic language when describing past project delivery.
  • 2. Complaining about legacy code or ambiguous product requirements during system design.
  • 3. Lacking direct experience building and scaling high-availability distributed systems.
✨ Recommended Role Alignment Hook:

I build resilient systems that scale cleanly under pressure by focusing relentlessly on developer velocity and user clarity.
