Position Summary & Responsibilities

Senior Data Analyst

Artsy and Artnet are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our talented, diverse, and international team to help shape data-driven decision-making and drive business growth across our global platform.

 

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will partner with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Product, and Marketing—to uncover actionable insights, optimize processes, and empower stakeholders through data and reporting. Your analysis will directly inform major initiatives spanning the art market’s digital transformation.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Own the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data across multiple departments to inform business strategy and operational improvements

  • Develop and maintain recurring and ad-hoc reports and dashboards using Looker, Salesforce, and other analytics tools

  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Executive teams to identify key metrics, set targets, and track the effectiveness of initiatives

  • Uncover trends, opportunities, and risks by segmenting and prioritizing data in alignment with company goals

  • Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Support the integration and usage of AI, automation, and business intelligence tools for increased efficiency and decision-making

  • Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data utilized for internal and client-facing reporting

  • Proactively anticipate business challenges and work cross-functionally to address them with data-backed solutions

  • Share best practices, train team members on data literacy, and contribute to a collaborative, learning-focused environment
