BallotCure Local Affairs Consultant | Independent Contractor, 1099
Position Summary & Responsibilities
Civitech is a public benefit corporation dedicated to creating a fairer and more equitable democracy by building the tools and infrastructure needed to increase civic participation, empower Democratic candidates to win, and support the success of progressive causes.
Since its founding in 2019, over 1400 partners -- a range of nonprofit organizations, national political committees, and individual campaigns -- have utilized Civitechβs tools to reach tens of millions of voters to help create a more equitable and progressive democracy.
Civitech is seeking experienced independent consultants with established local political relationships and knowledge of election administration to provide targeted information and connections in support of BallotCure. This engagement draws on expertise and networks consultants already bring to their work.
Needs will vary by location. An engagement may involve only a handful of hours over the entire project period, and some locations may require no services. There is no guaranteed minimum volume of work or expectation of ongoing availability.
It is important that our team reflects the diversity of the organizations we seek to serve. We strongly encourage women, people of color, LGBTQIA+ people, and others otherwise underrepresented in the technology sector to apply.
