WHAT YOU'LL DO AT H1
As a Software Engineer II on our MCU team, you will contribute to the delivery of meaningful product capabilities across the full stack, working closely with senior engineers, Product, and Design to build scalable, high-performing applications that power H1's platform. This role is ideal for an engineer who is growing their full-stack skill set, eager to take on increasing ownership, and excited to solve real-world distributed systems challenges in a collaborative environment.
You will:
- Contribute to features end-to-end from implementation and testing through deployment and production support, with guidance from senior team members
- Develop and maintain APIs, backend services, and distributed microservice architectures
- Implement and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and indexes for large-scale applications
- Build and maintain Kafka-based event-driven systems, including producers, consumers, and consumer groups
- Develop and optimize
