Team Overview:

Impinj is seeking a Principal UX/UI Designer to set the design direction for our software-based solutions. You will be the founding member of a new design team and will have the opportunity to shape early design practices and standards. You will own the end-to-end experience for our suite of products, define the design system and interaction standards others build against, and partner directly with Product, Engineering, and Innovation leadership to shape the roadmap. This is a hands-on craft role with organization-wide influence and internal thought leadership.

What You Will Do:

Own the end-to-end user experience, from problem framing and concept exploration through high-fidelity design and production handoff
Set and evolve the design language, component library, and interaction patterns used across the product portfolio, establishing foundational practices and frameworks for the organization
Lead discovery and definition on ambiguous, high-stakes problems, translating business objectives and user research into clear design strategy
