Position Summary & Responsibilities

About the Role

Role Details

We are looking to increase our network of Creative Directors working in our Broadway studio on project specific, temporary contracts. This role is a key pillar in our multidimensional design work offering concept and narrative/storytelling direction to the interdisciplinary team. We have some great long-term relationships, but as our portfolio grows we're looking to build our networks and meet new collaborators that can co-deliver our next stage of projects.

We're interested to hear from people who actively work in project specific temporary contracts and/or freelance contracts. To manage expectations we are not offering permanent contacts for this role at this time.

As a Creative Director in our team/s you will have direct experience on design-based projects and significant experience collaborating directly with Designers across specialisms. You will be able to work regularly within New York - we're unable to consider applications from those working remotely for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Collaborate with the cross-disciplinary Design & Producing teams to transform ideas into high-quality, multidimensional experiences.
  • Attend client meetings, interpret briefs, build strong narratives and help shape achievable creative visions for a wide range of project contexts, including (but not limited to) creative treatments, storyboards, script writing, brief decks and style frames.
  • Be comfortable leading areas of projects and/or teams from conception through to execution, ensuring the creative vision meets the client brief, aligns with project objectives and sustains our internal high standards.
  • Work with Producers to manage timelines and project evaluation.
  • Create presentation materials for existing projects and new business as required.
