Job Summary

Langan is seeking a Civil CAD Designer to join its collaborative team in Chicago, IL. This individual will serve a key function in assisting the planning and designing of civil engineering land development projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a passionate, collaborative team of civil engineers, working on exciting and meaningful projects across many different market sectors.

Job Responsibilities

Effectively use reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, tests, and aerial photographs to assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and topographical and geologic data to plan and design projects;
Prepare the planning and designing documents of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects in close collaboration with Project Engineers using engineering and design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.) and equipment;
Perform zoning and other feasibility assessments for development projects;
Perform field inspection services, as needed;
