What you’ll do

The Field Engineer is a hands-on role, responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of Pronto's advanced technology solutions across a range of customer locations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring successful deployment and optimal performance of Pronto equipment in the field.

Installation & Deployment

Electrical and mechanical Scoping of Construction and Mining equipment
Perform on-site installation of Pronto hardware and software solutions, including sensor systems, DBW kits, power integration, and vehicle interfaces.
On site installation of peripheral hardware such as network stations, gate systems and office infrastructure.
Conduct system calibrations and validation tests to ensure installations meet operational standards.
Collaborate with Engineering and Customer teams to ensure field deployments align with specifications and best practices.
Collaborate with engineering on R&D projects
Coordinate with customer teams on training and technical maintenance

Preventive Maintenance

Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure system health, reliability, and long-term performance.
Monitor and log equipment conditions, identifying signs of wear, degradation, or environmental impacts.

Troubleshooting & Repair

Diagnose and repair hardware, software, and connectivity issues in the field.
Utilize diagnostic tools and logs to identify root causes and implement fixes with minimal downtime.
Communicate findings clearly to engineering teams for deeper analysis and continuous improvement.
