Who we're looking for:

We are seeking a Business Analyst on the Finance Analytics team that will be the go-to person for financial metric decomposition and narration, ultimately directly influencing business outcomes and strategic priorities, and forward-looking modeling of our repeat customers, partnering with Finance to both maintain the models and narrate performance against forecast. 

As a Business Analyst on the Finance Analytics team, you will work with the broader Finance organization and Product Analytics team to analyze and narrate our marketplace. You are proactive about identifying positive and negative changes in financial metrics while also working with the team to hypothesize, investigate, and identify the underlying root cause of fluctuations in our metrics. • 1. Prioritizing short-term monetization over long-term user trust and platform safety
• 2. Ignoring the nuanced operational needs of the service provider side of the marketplace
• 3. Failing to back up product or operational hypotheses with behavioral data
